Rice Pudding

This recipe comes from Ruby McGlothlin from my church and it's the closest thing to Nellie's rice pudding I could ever find. Nellie never gave out her rice pudding recipe because she made a promise and kept it. I only doctored it with a little salt to make it taste more like Nellie's. Nellie always said that her husband Woody added the salt.

Heavenly Rice

I have tasted all kinds of ambrosia's and recipes of that sort and nothing comes close to this wonderful recipe from one of my best friends, Patsy Bryant.  Heavenly Rice is simply "heavenly"!  It is light and delicious and is sure to put a smile on your face. But, will it put a halo on your head?  I'm not so sure about that one!

Pineapple Bread Pudding

This wonderful bread pudding recipe comes from my dear friend and wonderful Bible teacher, Connie Clark.  We have had Bible study at our house for 8 years now and always have lovely deserts after class and pineapple bread pudding was always a hit.  Connie also makes the best Refreshing Rolls!  You can look for that recipe to be added soon as I get my hands on it!

Lemon Lust

This recipe comes from my good friend Jeanie Short.  This one is for you lemon lovers out there, me included.  It's light and delicious and doesn't require a lot of work.  Great to take to church socials.

Raspberry Delight

This recipe comes from Ruby McGlothlin.  She has made it quite a few times for gatherings at church and everyone just loves it.  Ruby is a great cook and I will soon add her baked macaroni and cheese recipe.  That is one of my favorites.

Easy Banana Pudding

This recipe comes from my good friend Jeanie Short.  When we first moved to our current home, Jeanie gave me a start off of her snowball bush and it has thrived in our back yard for years.  Beautiful bush!  Every time I look at it, I think of her.  This recipe really is a good one!

Strawberry Jell-o Pretzel Salad

This is a real good recipe to take to church socials or any place.  Is there anything you can't use Jell-o for?  Jell-o is so versatile in so many dishes.  This strawberry Jell-o salad is delicious and refreshing.  I like to make it in the summer.

Caramel Pecan Bread Pudding

This is a wonderful gooey and sticky dessert that reminds me of home made sticky buns.  It is a much easier version to make and quite delicious.  I guarantee you'll be licking your fingers on this one!
